Going Shopping?
Here is a list of very common foods that should be easily available. I also added local grocery store to see a list of foods they carry.
- Here is a great product! They sell bread, bagels, pizza muffins and many other products. There is a link on the page where you can put in your zip code to find local restaurants that are currently using the products and grocery stores that have it available: www.shop.udisglutenfree.com
- Soy Joy is a great health snack on the go! It is gluten-free and dairy free. http://us.soyjoy.com/nutrition/different-diets/gluten-free?gclid=CLy-1frm57MCFYs7MgodTw0AGQ
- Amy's organic soups: These canned soups should be available at your local grocer and they taste great! They are gluten free, organic, vegan, lactose/casein/milk free, soy free.
- Many grocery stores have a large list of allergy free foods available on their websites. Here is a link to a king soopers list and valuable information that goes beyond a list of foods: http://www.kingsoopers.com/natural_foods/gluten/Pages/default.aspx
- Here is the link for Walmart's list of gluten-free foods: http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do tab_value=all&search_query=gluten+free+foods&search_constraint=976759&Find=Find&ss=false&ic=16_0
- Safeway boast over 5,000 gluten-free foods but this link is the most comprehensive that I found: http://www.glutenfreeease.com/where/safeway-gluten-fee-list. This is their gluten-free logo that you should be looking for.
